Shannon is brilliantly unnerving as he callously dispenses with people, then returns home to maintain his facade of a loving husband and father.. . I cannot easily recommend these delights to everyone, but my high regard for Mr. Cronenberg's stylistic virtues remains largely undiminished.. Dull-witted caper..
